a combination of breath work, meditation, journaling, yoga, dance and somatic movement to discover a bridge to joy from the inside out

Community & Connection

We learn to be with our bodies in shared spaces by connecting with the tools we will practice and also be a witness to the different perspectives, experiences, and life path’s . Community is a foundational part of creating a sense of safety and joy in non-judgemental spaces.

Dance x Somatic Movement

You are by no means expected to “know” how to dance or learn any choreography, we are going to be moving by ways in which make you feel good. The root of somatic practices is to build the mind/body connection.

Meditation x Breath work

Sitting down, closing your eyes, and not thinking about anything is not the only way to meditate! There are plenty of different ways we can come to explore and practice meditation. Meditations will be visualization and sensorial experiences that make the busy mind focus on coming back to stillness and ease.

yoga asanas

We will be practicing yoga with a combination of Kundalini, Hatha, Vinyasa Styles. However, this is not a typical yoga class and we will be changing movement and activities throughout.

Journaling

Journaling is a tool to put our experiences, thoughts, beliefs, and desires into language. It helps us grow through reflections that uncover the depths of our emotional experience. Putting pen to paper has proven benefits for mental and emotional well-being and nervous system regulation.
